Abbott Nursery School Silent Auction 2016

This is truly a 'feel good' item up for bid here!  This amazing item is a Gift Certificate for a pair of handbeaded Tanzanian sandals valued at $40.  These are generously donated ANS mom, Courtney Hart, who's sister's-in-laws founded the company 'Shining A Light'.  Winner of the bid picks her favorite style of sandals. It's 'Women to Work" program offers Tanzanian women the opportunity to learn a trade and receive an education in health care, disease prevention, money management, business and literacy classes assisting women in providing them economic independence in caring for their families.  Engaging women with opportunities to earn and learn breaks the cycle of poverty, paving the way for a lifetime of success - empowerment changes a life, a family and a community.
